Thank you! Our deepest thanks to all of you who have sent additional contributions since becoming members.

When people first join HFA they receive a Consumer Alert packet along with a thank you note. Thereafter, in order to save money -- and our earth's resources -- HFA does not mail formal acknowledgements for most contributions (under $100).

All contributions to HFA are tax-deductible and are greatly appreciated. If you send a contribution under $100 but would like a formal acknowledgement and receipt, simply indicate so along with your contribution and we will be very happy to send one. Otherwise, your cancelled check can serve as a receipt for your records. HFA keeps a record of all contributions. If you ever have a question regarding past contributions, feel free to ask us. Thank you for your support of HFA.

Direct Mail and HFA's Policy

The most common method for non-profit organizations to solicit for new members is to rent or trade their mailing lists with other non-profit groups. Commercial businesses often trade the names of their customers.

HFA honors requests from all members who do not want their name used in this manner. Just contact us.
